Profile: Starscream is a cheerful and a bit ingenuous guy, who often gets into some troubles, even without realizing it. He’s afraid of Destroyer, his ex-commander at I.A.R., who often beats him for his insolence and his loquacity. To say the truth, Destroyer has never tolerated him, and flares up every time he sees him. In spite of his temperament, Starscream is very sweet and he’s always ready to help his friends. He’s very shy, too, especially with girls, and he’s persuaded to be a loser by birth. Fortunately, there’s little Megatron to comfort him when he feels sad and alone. Eventually, he gets engaged to human girl, Barbara, and adopts little Jetscream on 2004.

Biography: Starscream has been created by a team of scientists of I.A.R. as member of the Air Troop. Like every military robot, he began the training course at the age of seven. His childhood, however, hasn’t been a happy one (as one could ever live happily at I.A.R.).

General Destroyer, in fact, began taking advantage of him when he was six, beating him and insulting him to vent his aggressive instincts. Starscream was very afraid of him and often tried to avoid him, but his natural loquacity always made Destroyer furious. The problem became more serious when, at the age of eight, Starscream became Commander of the Air Troop. He had been chosen for his qualities as fighter and for his ability in organizing little plans, and this thing made him proud, but his team was subordinate to Destroyer’s one, and it was directly under his command: he would have had Destroyer ever on him!

During the 12 months he was in charge of the Air Troop, Starscream learned also to appreciate Destroyer, not only to be afraid of him: in fact, Destroyer was an unbeatable fighter and a respected commander, and Starscream would have become like him, when adult. But the future can’t be foreseen, and so, a year later, Starscream took part in the last mission that, together with Destroyer, Cyclonus and other Military robots, led him to Robocity. The friendly atmosphere and the kindness of Experimental robots convinced Starscream and the others to remain in Robocity, without continuing to fight and kill.

Unfortunately, even in Robocity Starscream had to undergo Destroyer’s tortures, but in February of 2002, Unicron discovered the whole matter and the ex-commander was prosecuted. With the promise he would try his best to change and become a better person, Destroyer managed to obtain Starscream's forgiving and to make him his friend, but when he was taken by madness and fury, he beat him again. Destroyer had never tolerated Starscream, especially for his temperament and his insolence, and because he had prevented him from committing suicide (what a perverted mind!). But, to his misfortune, his son Megatron sided with Starscream and he protected him from Destroyer’s oppression. Even if Megatron was only 7 years old, Starscream had found in him the friend and the father he never had, someone who could protect and comfort him when he was sad. Some years before, Starscream had discovered he had two brothers; Skywarp and Thundercracker, built with his genetic chips that have been left at I.A.R. laboratory, and a sister Star-Ray, a robot-girl who's one year older than him.

On 2004, Starscream got to meet Barbara, a human girl, and they eventually fell in love for each other. A while after they got together, Starscream becomes affectionate to little Jetscream, a 4 years old Military robot of his same kind (jet) and decides to adopt him.


Hobbies: Because of his speed in flying and the pleasant sense of freedom he feels doing it, Starscream likes to fly in acrobatic and high-speed flights, with his brothers and other jets, too. Other hobbies of his are videogames and volleyball but, most of all, Starscream loves to spend time with children (especially Megatron and Magnus).

Antipathies: Destroyer, in the first place, because he maltreats him and insults him without reason sometimes. The seconds are Star-Ray and Skywarp, because they don’t act as siblings to him, but they drive him out and they never devote attention to him. Finally, there’s little Galvatron, who always makes fun of him and plays the victim to make his father (Destroyer) angry to him. This only until Galvatron turns 7, though. After that, the child won't bother him anymore.

Weakness: Starscream takes easy offence at every insult, even a joke, and he becomes depressed and always needs to be comforted (he suffers from an inferiority complex!). He’s pig-headed, too, and he’s inclined to be jealous, especially towards Megatron, because he considers him his ONLY best friend. When he makes a mistake, he repeats it many times before learning the lesson (like don’t tease Destroyer!).

The Focus: Starscream and Megatron


If one asks Starscream who's the most important person in his life, he would undoubtedly reply:' MEGATRON!' In fact, this little robot is like a “little dad” for Starscream, always ready to encourage and comfort him. And Starscream is one who really needs all these things!

Megatron is's very responsible at the young age of seven, he has a great understanding of others' feelings. He feels tenderness towards Starscream, too, and so he acts as a father; he protects him and cheers him up when he's sad. Starscream considers Megatron his TRUE friend, and their relationship will stay strong even with years passing.
